Get to Know Us
SP14 Beratungs- und Beteiligung GmbH is a Hanseatic consulting and investment company based on Hamburg's Außenalster lake. Our portfolio includes several companies that operate throughout Germany and internationally.
SP14 was founded to bring together the first company, established in 1998, and the associated group of companies under one roof. Over the years, further exciting investments and fields of activity have been added as part of our business activities.
While we initially focused heavily on finance, we have since expanded into the areas of training, event management, sports, consulting, coaching and development, and most recently yoga.
The founders of SP14 have more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in promoting companies and supporting their growth, and have already identified several business opportunities.
These projects also included the establishment of a global network, which provides us with various areas of expertise in many areas of everyday entrepreneurship.
Meet the Team
Sven Putfarken
CEO
Sven Putfarken was born into a family of entrepreneurs in 1977, which is why he was already sitting at a desk at the age of 3, doing calculations for the sale of flowers in his grandparents' garden centre.
After graduating from secondary school, he completed an apprenticeship as an insurance broker, which he successfully completed in 1997.
After abandoning the idea of earning money playing basketball, he founded his first company as an insurance broker in 1998, which formed the basis for his current ventures.
However, the insurance business was also characterised by a lot of routine, so from 2008 to 2010 he ventured into studying financial economics, which he successfully completed in early 2011.
After several acquisitions in the following years, the first major exit took place in 2024 – it will be exciting to see what the future holds.
Katrharina Putfarken
Authorised Signatory & Coaching
Katharina Putfarken, née Mohr, was born in 1982 and felt drawn to talking to people from an early age.
After completing her secondary education, she studied psychology and successfully graduated with a degree in psychology.
After completing various further training courses, including as a systemic coach, she also completed her yoga teacher training in 2025.
Regina Weingandt
Authorised Signatory & Accounting
Regina Weingandt, born in 1964, is married and has three children.
Shortly after graduating from secondary school in 1982, she began working as an assistant. She later trained as an accountant and successfully completed this course in 2004.
She has been working for our group of companies since 2005.
